Ergotron LX Pro Pole Collar – secure height positioning of the monitor arm
The Ergotron LX Pro Pole Collar is a practical accessory for monitor mounts of the LX Pro series. The so-called Pole Collar is mounted directly on the vertical pole of the monitor mount and is used to define the position of a monitor arm attached to it.
The pole collar provides a firm support for the monitor arm. This prevents the arm mount from unintentionally sliding down the pole. At the same time, the position of the ring determines at what height the monitor arm should sit on the pole.
The accessory is particularly suitable for extensions and custom configurations of the Ergotron LX Pro series, for example when an existing pole is equipped with an additional monitor arm.
How is the Ergotron LX Pro Pole Collar mounted?
Assembly is straightforward: the ring is slid over the LX Pro pole from above and placed at the desired position. It is then secured to the pole using the side screw with a 4 mm Allen key. After fastening, the pole collar serves as a defined stop or support for the arm mount. This reliably fixes the position of the monitor arm on the pole. A suitable 4 mm Allen key is included in the delivery.
When is the LX Pro Pole Collar needed?
The pole collar is particularly useful when an Ergotron LX Pro monitor mount is being expanded or assembled individually. For example, if an additional monitor arm is attached to an existing LX Pro pole, the additional pole collar can be used to fix and support that arm.
Note: In some LX Pro complete solutions or arm-and-base kits, a corresponding pole collar may already be included. Before ordering, check whether an additional pole collar is actually required for the desired configuration.
